Rate Cards

Manage media rate cards for accurate spend estimation.

What it does

Rate Cards store the cost-per-thousand (CPM) and cost-per-click (CPC) benchmarks for each ad platform and channel. These rates are used to convert raw impression and engagement data from the ad collectors into estimated Philippine Peso spend figures shown throughout the platform.

When it updates

Rate cards are managed manually by your team. They should be updated whenever platform rates change significantly (typically quarterly). The spend estimates across the platform recalculate immediately when you save an updated rate.

How to use it
1

Click 'Add Rate Card' and select the platform (Meta, YouTube, Google, etc.).

2

Enter the CPM, CPC, and any other applicable rates for that platform.

3

Set the effective date range β€” old rates are kept for historical accuracy.

4

Save β€” spend estimates across the entire platform update immediately.

5

Review rates quarterly and update when platform pricing changes.

Why it exists

Ad platforms do not publish exact spend for competitors. Rate cards allow the platform to produce credible spend estimates from impression and engagement data β€” making the competitive spend data meaningful for client reporting.

Pro Tips
  • Use your agency's actual negotiated rates for more accurate client spend benchmarking.
  • Philippine market CPMs are significantly lower than global benchmarks β€” use local rates.
  • Keep historical rate cards even after updating β€” they ensure old spend estimates remain accurate.
